Blue Mountain Marching Band going to the movies

The Blue Mountain Band gathers for a group photo

The Blue Mountain “Eagle” Marching Band will entertain fans with a sampling of some of their favorite movie soundtracks!

Musical selections include “Kung Fu Fighting” from Kung Fu Panda, a medley from “How to Train Your Dragon” and “Holding Out for a Hero” from Shrek 2.

This year’s field show concept was designed by junior Elizabeth Mumbauer.

Instructional staff includes: Chris Evans, Band Director; Tom Daugherty and Josh Bishop, Assistant Band Directors; Cena Lindenmuth, Colorguard Instructor; Jenna Foley, Percussion Instructor; Kylan Fry, Front Ensemble Instructor; and Maddie Smith, Music and Marching Instructor.

Student leaders include: Emma Lutz, President; Aidan Miller, Vice President; Achilles Yusuf, Treasurer; and Quartermasters Megan Bassininsky, Tyler Handwerk, Emma Lutz, Noah Morgan and Allyson Tebin.

Drum Majors are Emma Lutz, Aidan Miller and Achilles Yusuf.
