Lopsided scores were the norm for local teams this week as the high school football regular season reached the midway point.

The top four teams in the T102SportsNow Super 7 football poll remained unchanged, as Tamaqua, Blue Mountain, Williams Valley and Schuylkill Haven each put up big offensive numbers in their victories this past weekend.

The No. 1 Blue Raiders and No. 2 Eagles each won by 49-7 scores, downing Salisbury and Bangor, respectively. No. 3 Williams Valley blew past backyard rival Tri-Valley 42-7 while No. 4 Schuylkill Haven outgunned previous No. 5 Minersville 72-52.

There is some movement among the bottom three teams in the Super 7 Poll, as Nativity leaped from No. 7 to No. 5, North Schuylkill stayed at No. 6 and Minersville dropped from No. 5 to No. 7.
