POTTSVILLE — Terrell McFarland (215) posted a 26-second pin to lead Pottsville past Williams Valley 36-24 on Wednesday in a non-league dual meet at Martz Hall.

The Crimson Tide gave first-year head coach Brad Leonard his first victory in Pottsville’s season opener.

Sean Pinho (127) won by injury default for the Tide (1-0).

Magnus Monger (107) and Xzavion Tennis (133) had pins, and Colin Crisswell (160) added a technical fall for the Vikings (0-1). Skylor Green (172) posted a 10-2 major decision over Kaiden Renn, and Camron Green (285) edged Lukas McNamara 2-1.

Pottsville will host the Case-Flynn Duals at 9 a.m. Saturday at Martz Hall.
