Boys’ Basketball: Felty’s big game propels Pine Grove to Cardinal Classic final

PINE GROVE — Hayden Felty has been making his mark on the hardwood for Pine Grove.
Felty paced Pine Grove with game-high 29 points as the Cardinals rolled past Salem Christian 61-46 in the opening round of the Cardinal Classic Tournament on Friday afternoon.
Pine Grove (5-6) led the Eagles 40-39 at the end of the third quarter, but then turned up the heat in the final frame. Felty scored 13 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter as the Cards outscored Salem Christian 21-7 in the final frame.
Quinn Brommer added 17 points for Pine Grove, who squares off against Schuylkill Valley in the championship round Saturday at 3 p.m.
Schuylkill Valley defeated Lehigh Valley 68-37 in the other first-round game.
