HS Softball: Schuylkill Haven falls to Kutztown

KUTZTOWN — Brianna Bauscher pitched a five-inning perfect game Monday to lead Kutztown to a 10-0 victory over Schuylkill Haven in a non-league softball game.

Bauscher struck out seven and walked none.

Jade Fitzgerald sparked the Kutztown offense by belting a double and a home run, good for four RBIs. Sadie Berger went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI for the Cougars.

Games postponed

Two games scheduled for Monday were rescheduled due to wet grounds and the threat of rain.

The Tri-Valley at Nativity contest will be played at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, but the game will be played at Tri-Valley. The Division II rematch, on April 23, will be at Nativity.

The Weatherly at MMI non-league game was postponed with a makeup date to be announced.
