HS Boys’ Soccer: Blue Mountain’s Gretsky chooses Misericordia

Blue Mountain senior standout Owen Gretsky has announced that he will continue his academic and soccer careers next season at Misericordia University.
A son of Jamie and Jaclyn Gretsky of Pottsville, Gretsky made the Schuylkill League first team and the Schuylkill League second team during his career with the Eagles. He also was Blue Mountain’s Soccer Scholar Athlete.
Gretsky’s academic honors include AP Scholar with honors, president of the Math Honor Society, treasurer of the National Honor Society, secretary of the History Honor Society, captain of the soccer team, a tennis team member and a Science Honor Society member.
He plans to major in Biology with pre-Doctor of Physical Therapy.
