Three lower-seeded teams pulled off upset victories Friday in the Schuylkill County Teener League Junior Division quarterfinals.

Top-seeded and undefeated Hegins Black rolled into Monday’s semifinals of the single-elimination tournament with a 13-1 rout of Blue Mountain Blue. The defending champions will host No. 7 Hope’s Collision (14-4), which knocked off No. 2 Williams Valley 6-3, at 5:30 p.m. at Hegins Park.

The other semifinal will have No. 6 Schuylkill Haven (14-4) visiting No. 5 Schuylkill Valley (14-4) at 5:30 p.m. in Middleport. Haven upended No. 3 Pine Grove 7-5 while Schuylkill Valley outlasted No. 4 Blue Mountain 13-10 in a back-and-forth affair.

The winners of Monday’s semifinals advance to a best-of-3 championship series that will be played Wednesday-Thursday-Friday, June 25-27.
