Blue Mountain and Pottsville earned quarterfinal byes for the District 24 Little League 8-10-year-old Tournament playoffs, which were finalized Saturday.

Both squads finished pool play undefeated at 4-0. Blue Mountain earned the top seed based on runs allowed after surrendering just four runs in four games. Pottsville is the No. 2 seed after giving up 14 runs.

Schuylkill Haven, Upper Dauphin County, Minersville and Pine Grove complete the six-team 8-10-year-old playoff field based on pool play record and runs allowed.

Schuylkill Haven (3-1, 13 runs allowed) is No. 3, with UDC (3-1, 15 runs allowed) seeded fourth. Both will host quarterfinal playoff games Monday at 5:30 p.m.

Minersville (2-2, 29 runs allowed) is No. 5 and will travel to Gratz to face Upper Dauphin County in the quarterfinals. Pine Grove (2-2) earned the final berth based on its head-to-head victory over Upper Schuylkill (2-2) and will visit Schuylkill Haven in Monday’s quarterfinals.

The 8-10-year-old semifinals are set for Thursday at 5:30 p.m., with the championship game slated for Sunday at 1 p.m. at the highest remaining seed.

The 9-11-year-old semifinals will be held Sunday, with the championship game Tuesday. The Major Division pool play portion wraps up Sunday, with the quarterfinals to be held Tuesday.
