Top 10 Stories: No. 10 — Minersville’s Carr commits to play football at UCF

Dante Carr found the right fit for him.
For Minersville’s multi-talented quarterback, that fit is to play NCAA Division I college football at the University of Central Florida. The deciding factor for Carr was the opportunity to learn under head coach Scott Frost.
Known for his ability to develop quarterbacks, Frost has coached at big-time programs like the University of Oregon, Nebraska and in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams.

Carr, who chose from 11 Division I offers, is gearing up for his senior season with the Battlin’ Miners. After that, the 6-foot-4, 225-pound Carr has plans to graduate from high school early and enroll in January at UCF.
