ORWIGSBURG — Nativity accomplished something Monday that hadn’t been done in two years:
Defeat Schuylkill Haven in a regular-season Schuylkill League golf match.

Trey Keating carded a 78, while Stephen Karinch, Andy Smith and Ryan Grabowski all scored in the 80s as the Hilltoppers downed the Hurricanes 331-336 in a Schuylkill League Division II golf match at Schuylkill Country Club.
Alan Evans posted the day’s best score with an even-par 72, but Schuylkill Haven dropped its season opener. Nativity, meanwhile, improved to 3-0.
Elsewhere in Division II, Alex Krapf carded an 80 to lead Marian past Minersville 329-374 and Mahanoy Area opened its season with a 368-386 win over Weatherly. Haden Kechula and Conner Bowman each shot 83s to lead the Bears.
In Division I action, Evan Setlock earned medalist honors with a 76 as Blue Mountain downed Lourdes 318-372. Sam Vinc had a 75 as Tamaqua stayed unbeaten with a one stroke, 361-362 victory over North Schuylkill.
In non-league action, Pine Grove opened its season with a 354-363 victory over Panther Valley.
