BARNESVILLE — Maxum DiRenzo carded an 85 and Brody Kline shot an 89 to lift Pottsville to a 354-367 victory over Lourdes in a Schuylkill League Division I golf match Wednesday at Mountain Valley Golf Course.

The victory keeps Pottsville (6-2, 6-2 D-I) one match behind Blue Mountain (10-1, 7-1) in the Division I standings and 1.5 matches ahead of Tamaqua (4-4, 4-3) for the second playoff spot from Division I with two rounds left.

In Division I, Marian and Minersville both defeated Pine Grove in a Division II doubleheader at Blue Mountain Golf Course.

Brayden Grant’s 75 helped Marian to a 317-365 win over the Cardinals, while Garrett Sukeena shot a 76 to help Minersville edge Pine Grove 362-365.
