ORWIGSBURG — Lily Flynn had nine kills, three blocks and two aces as Pine Grove defeated Nativity 25-23, 26-24, 25-12 on Monday in a non-league girls’ volleyball match.
Molly Drumheller tallied 16 digs and two assists, while Payton Harris added 10 assists, five digs and one kill for the Cardinals (4-1).
For Nativity (2-4), Morgan Howell had 19 digs and three aces; Addisan Rickard compiled four kills, nine assists, six digs and two aces; and Finley McNamara added four kills, two assists, 12 digs and two blocks.
Pine Grove won JV 2-0.
Blue Mountain 3, Lehighton 0
ORWIGSBURG — Jaedyn Bartholomew had 11 kills, 11 digs and two aces to lead Blue Mountain past Lehighton 25-9, 25-15, 25-12 in a non-league match.
Rachel Moyer added five kills and three digs, while Tess Krasnay compiled 19 digs, five aces and four assists for the Eagles (4-2).
Blue Mountain won JV 2-0.
Mahanoy Area 3, Schuylkill Haven 0
SCHUYLKILL HAVEN — Grace Line made 14 digs for Schuylkill Haven, but Mahanoy Area (3-3) prevailed in the non-league match, winning 25-9, 25-13, 25-12.
Lydia Hartz added nine assists, four digs and two kills, while Hailey Keppley chipped in two aces, four kills and three digs for the Hurricanes (2-3).
Mahanoy Area won JV 2-0.
Tamaqua 3, Minersville 0
MINERSVILLE — Madison Schock had 14 aces, seven assists and three kills to lead Tamaqua past Minersville 25-12, 25-15, 25-17 in non-league action.
Leah Black added four kills and four digs, while Kelsey Lusch tallied four assists, five aces and three digs for the Blue Raiders (4-3).
For Minersville (1-6), Bella Cruz had 14 assists, three digs and two aces; Aliyah Webster compiled four aces, two kills and one block; and Caty Ilsley added five kills, one ace, two blocks and four digs.
Minersville won JV 2-0.
