The Schuylkill League has another football team ranked among the top 10 in its classification in the PennLive.com state rankings.
Unbeaten Marian (4-0) entered the Class A rankings this week at No. 10, becoming the fifth local school to be listed in the weekly state polls.
Unbeatens Schuylkill Haven (4-0) and Williams Valley (4-0) remained at No. 1 and No. 3, respectively in the Class AA poll, while North Schuylkill (2-2) fell to No. 8 in Class 3A and Minersville (3-1) is still a Team to Watch in Class AA.
Marian has ripped off victories over Hanover Area, Tri-Valley, Panther Valley and Shenandoah Valley to open the season. The Colts are one of only four unbeaten Class A teams in the state, joining No. 1 Fort Cherry (4-0), No. 3 Line Mountain (4-0) and No. 6 Port Allegany (4-0). The other teams in the Class A rankings all have one loss.
