HS Football: Races tighten in weekly Super 7 poll

For the sixth straight week, Williams Valley sits atop the T102 Sports Now Super 7 High School Football Poll.
But the races behind the unbeaten Vikings are really tight.
Williams Valley (5-0) earned three first-place votes and 33 points to retain the No. 1 spot in this week’s poll in voting done by the T102 Sports Now writers and the play-by-play broadcasters for WPPA and T-102.
Schuylkill Haven (5-0) remains in second, but moved within one point of the Vikes with two first-place votes and 32 points. The Hurricanes and Vikings clash this Friday between the pines in Williamstown (7 p.m., T-102).
Behind the two unbeatens, there are ties for both third and fifth.
Minersville (3-2) and North Schuylkill (3-2) tied for third place with 20 points, while Blue Mountain (2-3) and Marian (5-0) are knotted for fifth with 15 points. Tri-Valley re-enters the poll this week at No. 7 with 5 votes.
