The regular season is over.
It’s time for the playoffs.
The seven teams that comprise the weekly T102 Sports Now Super 7 High School Football Poll have spent the week gearing up for the District 11 playoffs, which are spread over Thursday, Friday and Saturday this weekend. The Class 3A and 4A quarterfinals are set for Thursday, the Class A semifinals are Friday and the Class AA quarterfinals will be played Saturday night.
This week’s Super 7 poll looks similar to last week’s poll with one minor exception: Marian is in sixth place by itself, while Tri-Valley drops to No. 7. The Colts and Dawgs, who meet Friday in the District 2/11 Class A subregional semifinals, were tied for sixth last week.
At the top of the poll, Schuylkill Haven (10-0) stays at No. 1 with five first-place votes and 35 points in voting done by three T102 Sports Now writers and the play-by-play broadcasters for WPPA and T-102. Williams Valley (9-1) is still at No. 2 with 28 points, followed by North Schuylkill (7-3) at 27 points, Minersville (8-2) at 20 points and Blue Mountain (6-4) at 15 points.
This will be the last weekly Super 7 poll until the conclusion of the season. We wish all of our local teams good luck in the postseason.
