Friday’s loss by Williams Valley ended the 2025 high school football season for Schuylkill County teams.

However, a pair of District 11 teams with local ties — Northwestern Lehigh and Southern Lehigh — are still alive as the PIAA playoffs reach the semifinal round.

The Tigers take on District 3 champion Trinity at 7 p.m. Friday at Exeter Township High School near Reading, while Southern Lehigh faces District 12 winner Cardinal O’Hara at 7 p.m. Friday at Whitehall High School.
