FREDERICKSBURG — A slow start proved fatal for the Blue Mountain girls’ basketball team Wednesday night.

Northern Lebanon used a strong first period en route to a 39-32 victory over the Eagles in a non-league contest.

The top-ranked team in District 3 Class 4A, the Vikings opened the game with a 14-6 run and never looked back.

Mila Fleagle led all scorers with 18 points for Blue Mountain, while Hailey Place added eight.

MILLVILLE — Corbin Wagner led a quintet of double-digit scorers with 19 points as the Wreckers raced past Millville in a non-league contest for their third straight win.

Ian McKeegan added 17 points, Niko Saldukas tallied 16 and Matt Adler and Dominick Kokinda each netted 12 for Weatherly, which exploded for 30 points in the second quarter to overcome an early 19-12 deficit.

McKeegan had 13 of his points in what turned into a 30-7 run to close the first half. Over the middle quarters, the Wreckers outscored Millville 59-20.
