HS Boys’ Wrestling: North Schuylkill tops Tamaqua
TAMAQUA — Bode Gates (145), Bryce Kile (160), Ben Carr (172) and Cadyn McGraw (215) earned falls to power North Schuylkill to a 57-17 victory over Tamaqua on Thursday in a Schuylkill League Division I dual meet.
Kaden Tavares (152) added a 7-0 decision over Evan Temarantz for the Spartans (6-2, 2-0 D-I). Tavares upped his record to 9-5.
Other top records for North Schuylkill include Gaige Mentusky (10-3) at 107, Noah Leib (9-4) at 133, Gates (12-4) at 145 and McGraw (9-4) at 215.



William Behun (285) had a pin, and Rylan Reitz (121) posted a win by technical fall for the Blue Raiders (0-7, 0-1). Reitz, a freshman, improved his record to 11-3.

Addison Trunk (112), Rylin Arroyo (118) and Jalissa Correa (130) won by fall for the Blue Raiders. Correa improved to 5-0, and Arroyo raised her record to 4-1.
For North Schuylkill, Ka’ren-is Holmes (100) is 5-0, and Madison Fetterolf (106) is 6-1.
