HEGINS — Another night, another statement, and another piece of hardware secured for Tri-Valley.

The Dawgs clinched the Schuylkill League Division II championship after rolling past Marian 70-47 Wednesday at Tri-Valley Jr./Sr. High School, continuing a dominant league season built on balance, athleticism and timely execution.

Braeden Doyle led all scorers with 25 points, knocking down four 3-pointers as Tri-Valley steadily widened the gap after halftime. Gavin Klock added 15 points, while Owen Miller chipped in 11 to keep constant pressure on the Colts.

Marian stayed competitive early, trailing by just four at the half, but Tri-Valley outscored the Colts 22-14 in the third quarter to seize full control and never looked back.

Gregory Tirpak paced Marian with 11 points. Jimmy Cannon collected 11 points for the Colts, while Jacob De La Cruz netted eight.

With the division crown clinched, the Dawgs receive an automatic bid into the semifinal round of the Schuylkill League Playoff Tournament at Martz Hall.
