Marian’s Lombardo chooses Millersville

Marian Catholic senior volleyball player Alena Lombardo signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Division II Millersville University. A middle blocker for the Fillies, Lombardo tallied 558 kills and 256 blocks in her four-year career that saw her named All-State, First-Team Schuylkill League and District 11 All-Star First Team. At Marian, Lombardo is the FBLA president and a member of the National Honor Society, Immaculate Heart Society and Catholic Athletes for Christ. While at Millersville, she plans to study biology with a focus on animal behavior.
