North Schuylkill, Tamaqua earn 2 wins in quad meet
PAXINOS — One stroke.
One missed putt, one wedge shot that was short of the green, one chip that rolled into a bunker, one drive that was just a little off the mark.
It was the difference between Blue Mountain and Lourdes in a Schuylkill League Division I golf showdown Friday at Indian Hills.
Connor Roeder carded an 81, Owen Crossen had an 83 and Dylan Knittle shot an 84 to help Blue Mountain edge Lourdes 336-337. Vivian Reiprish earned medalist honors with a 75 for the Red Raiders, while Rylan Wolfgang had an 85 and Walker McGinley shot 86.
