The PIAA unveiled sites and times for Tuesday’s second round of the PIAA Basketball Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

The Schuylkill Haven girls, fresh off their 50-19 first-round rout of Philadelphia Academy Charter, will take on District 3 runner-up Pequea Valley (21-4) in a Class 3A second-round matchup at 7:30 p.m. at the Geigle Complex in Reading. That contest is the second game of a doubleheader, with Easton facing Red Lion in a Class 6A girls’ game at 6 p.m.

Pequea Valley and Schuylkill Haven met in the second round of states last season, with the Braves beating the Hurricanes 39-33 at Central Dauphin East High School. Pequea Valley blasted Mastery North Pickett 59-19 in Friday’s first round.

The Marian girls, fresh off their 66-24 rout of Vaux in Philadelphia, will make the short trip up to Berwick to face District 2 runner-up Wyoming Seminary (18-7) in a Class AA game at 6 p.m. That contest is the first game of a doubleheader there, with District 4 champion Hughesville squaring off with District 11 third-place finisher Notre Dame-Green Pond in a Class 3A matchup at 7:30 p.m.

Pottsville’s Martz Hall will host a pair of games Tuesday night.
