HS Softball: Nativity routs Lincoln Leadership

POTTSVILLE — Macie Rushannon had a big day out of the leadoff spot to lift Nativity over Lincoln Leadership Academy 16-1 in a non-league softball game on a frigid Friday afternoon atop Lawton’s Hill.
Rushannon went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBIs for the Golden Girls, who scored 11 runs in the first inning.
Lauren Clark had a 2-for-2 day with two runs and three RBIs for Nativity.


Winning pitcher Chloe Covell tossed a two-hitter and struck out seven in three innings of work. She helped herself at the plate with a double, two runs and two RBIs.
Kyra Krapf doubled, scored a run and knocked in a run for Nativity, while Addisan Ricard went 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a run scored.
