Six Schuylkill League girls earned spots on the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Team.

In Class A, a pair of Tri-Valley players led the way as junior setter Callie Melochick and sophomore libero Kira Klinger made the list. Nativity senior outside hitter Sara Spolski also received honors on the Class A squad.

In Class AA, Mahanoy Area’s’ Caylin Blashock and Pine Grove’s Domani Collazo, both senior middle hitters, earned honors.

Junior setter/outside hitter Morgan Orsulak represented Panther Valley on the Class 3A team.

Both Tri-Valley and Mahanoy Area captured District 11 championships in their respective divisions. The Bulldogs defeated Ephrata Mennonite in the first round of states before bowing out to Faith Christian in the Class A quarterfinals. After taking district gold in Class AA, the Golden Bears fell to Lansdale Catholic in the PIAA round of 16.
