The hottest girls’ basketball team in the Schuylkill League remained atop the T102 Sports Now Super 7 Girls’ Basketball Poll.

Marian stayed at No. 1 in this week’s poll after improving to 16-1 with three victories this week, extending its win streak to 14 straight.

The poll remained virtually unchanged this week, with North Schuylkill (11-4), Williams Valley (14-2), Schuylkill Haven (11-4) and Tamaqua (14-3) staying at the Nos. 2-5 spots.

The only change came at No. 6, where red-hot Lourdes leapfrogged Blue Mountain. The Red Raiders (11-3) have won six straight heading into Monday’s Division II clash against Williams Valley. Blue Mountain (6-9) went 1-1 on the week, staying at No. 7 with its upset win over Schuylkill Haven on Thursday.

Teams to watch that just missed the poll: Pine Grove (10-7), Mahanoy Area (8-5).
