SELINSGROVE — Connor Huben and Brady Strause each homered as Blue Mountain battered Selinsgrove 17-2 on Saturday in a non-league on the road.

The Eagles (8-4) erupted for 14 runs in the top of the seventh inning to slam the door on the contest. Riley Sebastian, Aidan Grace and Strause each compiled two hits and three RBIs for Blue Mountain, which led 5-2 going into the seventh. Huben also collected three RBIs.

Aiden Finn went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored for the Eagles. Josh Hoover added a triple.

Matt Grasso pitched a complete game for Blue Mountain, allowing two earned runs on five total hits.

SHENANDOAH — Haden Kechula and Tristian Karosas each compiled three RBIs as Shenandoah Valley rolled by CMVT in a non-league game.

Kechula had three hits and Karosas added a pair for the Blue Devils (9-4). Ethan Bench pitched a five-inning complete game and allowed one run on two hits.

Pottsville 11, Jim Thorpe 4

POTTSVILLE — Alan Kushwarra went 4-for-4 and tallied four RBIs as Pottsville defeated Jim Thorpe in a non-league contest.

Brody Eroh knocked in three runs for the Crimson Tide, while Landon Trout added a pair of RBIs. Pottsville (3-10) led 5-3 through the first three innings and tacked on six more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.

MOUNT CARMEL — Hunter Rogers, Kolton Joyce and Stephen Minahan each had a hit as North Schuylkill fell to Mount Carmel in a non-league game.

Minahan doubled as the Spartans (4-6) were limited to three hits.
