Former Schuylkill League baseball players headed to NCAA D2 College World Series

Two former Schuylkill League baseball players are headed to the NCAA Division II College World Series starting May 30, 2025, in Cary, North Carolina.

Freshman Caden Leonard, a Tri-Valley graduate and junior Patrick Yoder, a Pottsville graduate, are both pitchers for the East Stroudsburg University baseball team.

The team punched its ticket to the World Series on May 24, 2025, as winners of the Super Regional tournament after sweeping Seton Hill University.
