HS Golf: Blue Mountain captures Division I crown

ORWIGSBURG — Evan Setlock led the way with an 82 as Blue Mountain clinched the Schuylkill League Division I golf championship with a 338-362 victory over Tamaqua on Tuesday at the Schuylkill Country Club.
Cole Fry (84), Gabe Kamarousky (85) and Delaney Walborn (87) rounded out the top four for the Eagles, who finish 9-1 in league play. Tamaqua’s Sam Vinc earned medalist honors with a 75.
In other action Tuesday, Maxum DiRenzo’s 81 paced Pottsville to a 349-375 win over Panther Valley; Trey Keating carded a 74 as Nativity topped Pine Grove 309-329 and Jake Hatter’s 79 led Pine Grove to a 329-356 win over Weatherly.
Eli Barton’s 70 pushed Schuylkill Haven past Marian 317-327, while Haden Kechula shot a 75 to lead Mahanoy Area past Minersville 340-360.
