HS Football: Week 4 review, Schuylkill-Colonial scores, standings

A pair of wild games highlighted the Week 4 slate as Northwestern Lehigh and Williams Valley remained undefeated with dramatic wins.
The defending PIAA Class 3A state champion Tigers fended off Blue Mountain in a Red Division game, winning 34-28.
Williams Valley, meanwhile, outgunned Minersville 43-40 in a Blue Division shootout to move to 4-0.
The Tigers and Vikings are joined by Palisades, Notre Dame-Green Pond, Marian and Schuylkill Haven at 4-0.
STILL WINLESS: Five Schuylkill-Colonial teams are still in search of their first victories: Bangor, Wilson Area, Mahanoy Area, Pine Grove and Shenandoah Valley. That number will be reducted by at least one after Week 5 as Pine Grove visits Shenandoah Valley.
THIS WEEK’S BIG GAMES: Minersville treks to Schuylkill Haven in a Thursday night thriller at Rotary Field in the Blue Division, while Williams Valley visits Tri-Valley in their annual rivalry game. In the Red Division, Northwestern Lehigh visits Lehighton, while Pottsville travels to Southern Lehigh. In the White Division, Palisades faces Pen Argyl on Saturday, while Notre Dame-Green Pond takes on Catasauqua.
