SCHUYLKILL HAVEN — Ethan Miller wasn’t satisfied with breaking Schuylkill Haven’s team record in the 100-yard butterfly Tuesday.
He did it again Thursday.
The Schuylkill Haven sophomore had a hand in four victories as the Hurricanes rolled past Mahanoy Area 106-13 in a Schuylkill League boys’ swimming dual meet.
Miller broke Austin Bayliff’s record of 57.67 seconds set in 2013 during Tuesday’s win over Marian, going 57.30. Miller went even faster Thursday, winning the event in 56.37 seconds to break the mark twice in three days.
Miller also won the 100 breaststroke and swam on two winning relays as Schuylkill Haven (4-2, 3-0 SL) won 10 of 11 contested events.
Matt Marmas (200 free, 500 free) and Bruce Stine (50 free, 100 free) also won two individual events, while Elliot Wehr took first in the 200 IM.
Blake Brown captured the 100 backstroke for Mahanoy Area (0-4, 0-4).
