Leroy Boyer comes to T102 Sports Now after serving as the sports editor for 22 years at the Pottsville Republican-Herald. A sports journalist since he was in ninth grade, Leroy has also worked at the Schuylkill Haven Call, Lancaster New Era and Hazleton Standard-Speaker, winning or sharing 12 Pennsylvania NewsMedia Keystone Awards. The proud father of three children, Tyler, Austin and Erin, Leroy has been a volunteer firefighter with the Liberty Fire Company of Schuylkill Haven for 37 years, serves as a PIAA baseball umpire and is a member of the District 11 Hall of Fame Committee.

Elle Walasavage, Blue Mountain High School Class of 2024 and current sophomore at Susquehanna University, is a newcomer to the T102 team. Elle is currently pursuing a major in Broadcasting with a minor in Marketing and is a student-athlete being an active member of the SU softball team, University Chorale, the Event Coordinator for AWSM, and works in the Athletic Communications Department. This is her first year at T102, where she continues to build her experience in media through broadcasting local softball and football games.

I started doing stats at football games with Mr. Powers 9 years ago and then went down on the sidelines for Football and Basketball, and co-host for sports Saturday. Coached basketball at Mahanoy and in the little league, softball and biddy basketball leagues in Mahanoy City. We are lucky in Schuylkill county to have the best coaches and players around they make our jobs easier. My most enjoyable thing to do is to watching my daughter Braelyn in all her activities at Mahanoy.
