HS Basketball: PIAA playoff brackets for Schuylkill teams

The PIAA Basketball Tournament gets under way Friday with first-round games in six classifications (3 boys, 3 girls) and follows with first-round games in the other six classifications Saturday.
Ten Schuylkill League teams remain alive in the postseason, with five — Williams Valley girls, Schuylkill Haven girls, Pottsville boys, Lourdes girls, Marian boys — earning “home” games for the first round.
Tickets for all PIAA playoff games cost $8 (plus applicable fees) and must be purchased online at www.piaa.org. All spectators must purchase a ticket (there is no senior citizen discount like the District 11 playoffs).
