CATAWISSA — Kale Lengle went 3-for-3 and tallied five RBIs as Pine Grove slugged its way past Southern Columbia 14-11 in a non-league game Monday on the road.

Lengle doubled and tripled for the Cardinals, who led 14-1 after three innings. Quinn Brommer hit a two-run home run to center field in the top of the first as Pine Grove (3-1) wasted little time getting runs on the board.

Wyatt Snyder, Jake Hatter and Wyatt Dixon each added two RBIs for the Cards. Brayden Lyons and Dixon both doubled. Lyons was the winning pitcher.

The game was called due to darkness in the bottom sixth inning, with one out and the bases loaded for the Tigers.

TREVORTON — John Rautzahn collected two RBIs as Williams Valley rolled past Line Mountain in five innings of a non-league game.

Cody Boehmer pitched a five-inning complete game and struck out five for the Vikings.
