Flag football clinic to be held for boys and girls

Narrow Valley Sportsplex will be the place to be on Saturday, June 21, for a Flag Football Clinic featuring numerous Hall of Fame coaches as clinicians.
The Sportsplex is located at 20 Market St., Nesquehoning.
The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to noon and is open to boys in grades 3-8 and girls in grades 3-12. The camp fee is $60 per participant.
The Camp Director is Hall of Fame coach Stan Dakosty, who is a top 13 winningest high school coach in Pennsylvania and has the most wins in District 11 football history.
The Camp Coordinator is coach Bill O’Gurek, a long-time Marian High School football coach and the Colts’ current head coach. He led his team to the District 11 championship game in his first season.
Another featured clinician is Hall of Fame coach Jim Tkach, the Director of the Youth Flag Football Program in Milford, Delaware.
A special guest coach is Joe Trainer, who is a long-time college football coach at the Division I and II levels. Currently, he is the head women’s flag football coach at Immaculata College. Beyond coaching, Trainer will discuss opportunities for athletes to reach the college level of competition.
