PIAA Baseball/Softball: 5 teams continue quest in quarterfinals

For five area teams, the journey continues and the dream lives on.

Two Schuylkill League baseball and three Schuylkill League softball teams won PIAA first-round games Monday — the area went 5-1 overall — to advance to Thursday’s quarterfinal round.

Here are the matchups, sites and times for the five games involving local teams as released Tuesday by the PIAA:
