HS Girls’ Soccer: Hamburg defeats Pottsville

Saturday’s non-league girls’ soccer results
HAMBURG — Madeline Wilkes had three goals and one assist to lift Hamburg over Pottsville 5-1 in a non-league match atop Hawk Hill.
Ella Brindle and Cayja Christiansen added one goal and one assist apiece for Hamburg, which led 4-0 at halftime.
Emma Quirin-Morris scored an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute for the Crimson Tide (0-1).
Julie Stock made 12 saves for Pottsville, which got outshot 17-4.
Minersville 8, Williams Valley 0
WILLIAMSTOWN — Kloee Horoschak had four goals to lead Minersville over Williams Valley in a non-league match.
Hope Motuk added three assists for the Battlin’ Miners, while Jenna Cullen tallied one goal and two assists. Grace Sterner and Shayla Miklesavage netted one goal apiece.
Minersville goalkeeper Bella Rizzardi made five saves in the shutout victory.
