Monday’s girls’ volleyball results

Tamaqua 3, MMI 0

TAMAQUA — Millie Black had 11 kills, nine aces and two blocks to lead Tamaqua to a 25-6, 25-8, 25-17 victory over MMI in non-league action Monday.

Leah Black added five kills, nine aces and six digs, while Madison Schock tallied 12 assists, four aces and five digs for the Blue Raiders.

MMI won JV 2-1.

Blue Mountain 3, Northern Lebanon 0

ORWIGSBURG — Jaedyn Bartholomew had nine kills, 19 digs and two blocks as Blue Mountain rolled past Northern Lebanon 25-7, 25-19, 25-14 in a non-league match.

Also for the Eagles, Zoe Leibensperger had seven kills and two blocks; Tess Krasnay added 21 digs, three aces and two assists; and Bella Grasso compiled 27 assists, 11 dig and two aces.

Northern Lebanon won JV.

Salem Christian 3, Weatherly 0

MACUNGIE — Salem Christian defeated Weatherly 25-7, 25-9, 25-11 in the Wreckers’ season opener.

In other matches, Blue Mountain defeated Northern Lebanon 3-0, and Nativity fell 3-0 to Schuylkill Valley.
