Pottsville 3, Tamaqua 0
POTTSVILLE — Anna Burke had eight kills and seven blocks to lead Pottsville past Tamaqua 25-7, 25-17, 25-10 on Tuesday in a Schuylkill League Division I girls’ volleyball match.
Cat Mohl added six digs, while Ava Schwartz compiled eight aces, three digs, six kills and one block for the Crimson Tide (1-2, 1-0 D-I).
For Tamaqua (1-1, 0-1), Millie Black had five kills and six digs; Leah Black chipped in three kills and seven digs; and Madison Schock notched four assists, eight digs and two aces.
Pottsville won JV 2-0.
Pine Grove 3, Mahanoy Area 2
MAHANOY CITY — Lily Flynn had 14 kills, two blocks and one ace as Pine Grove outlasted Mahanoy Area 25-23, 25-18, 11-25, 20-25, 15-12 in a Division I match.
Molly Drumheller added 16 digs and one ace, while Addison Daubert contributed 12 assists and four aces for the Cardinals (1-0, 1-0 D-I).
Mahanoy Area won JV 2-0.
Blue Mountain 3, Lourdes 0
SHAMOKIN — Jaeden Bartholomew hit 12 kills as Blue Mountain downed Lourdes 25-6, 25-6, 25-4 in a Division I match.
Bella Grasso added 19 assists and one kill, and Madison Gerlott had four kills for the Eagles (2-0, 1-0 D-I).
For Lourdes (0-2, 0-1), Bella Cherry had three digs; Maggie McCarthy had one kill and two digs; and Sophia Padula had two assists.
Blue Mountain won JV 2-0.
Panther Valley 3, North Schuylkill 1
FOUNTAIN SPRINGS — Morgan Orsulak joined the 200-ace club as Panther Valley topped North Schuylkill 21-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-19 in a Division I match.
Orsulak finished with 17 kills, 19 assists and seven aces for the Panthers (2-0, 1-0 D-I). JaeLynn Browdy added 16 kills and 15 assists; Jessica Hackash hit 11 kills; and Caroline Breslin made 15 digs.
For North Schuylkill (0-1, 0-1), Brigid Flynn had five kills and 13 digs, and Lyza Holmes had five aces and 11 digs.
Panther Valley won JV 2-0.
Tri-Valley 3, Marian 1
HOMETOWN — Faith Melocheck had 13 kills and Liv Lupole smacked 11 kills to lead Tri-Valley past Marian 25-17, 8-25, 25-23, 25-22 in a Division II match.
Also for the Bulldogs (1-0, 1-0 D-II), Callie Melocheck added 35 assists and six aces; Kirra Klinger made 25 digs; and Kylie Clemmer tallied seven aces and five kills.
For Marian (0-1, 0-1), Isabella Horvat notched seven kills, 13 digs and one ace; Eris Hayes added three kills, 18 assists and 15 digs; Kali Grochowski chipped in six kills, two aces, 18 digs and one block; and Alena Lombardo had seven kills and four blocks.
Tri-Valley won JV 2-1.
Schuylkill Haven 3, Minersville 0
MINERSVILLE — Grace Line made 11 digs to help Schuylkill Haven beat Minersville 25-18, 25-16, 25-18 in a Division II match.
Also for the Hurricanes (1-0, 1-0 D-II), Makayla Koller hit nine aces and Lydia Hartz had eight assists.
For Minersville (0-1, 0-1), Aliyah Webster had five aces, three kills and four digs; Bella Cruz added one ace, eight assists and four digs; and Arianna John compiled four aces, five kills and four digs.
Schuylkill Haven won JV 2-0.

Nativity 3, Shenandoah Valley 0
SHENANDOAH — Finley McNamara had nine aces and six kills to lift Nativity over Shenandoah Valley 25-19, 25-13, 25-10 in Division II action.
Addison Rickard added 17 assists and four kills, while Morgan Howell tallied four aces and seven digs for Nativity (1-1, 1-0 D-II).
For Shenandoah Valley (1-1, 0-1), Aubrie Monaghan had four kills; Danna Chagolla chipped in four kills and two aces; and Brittany Tufts had six assists.
Nativity won JV 2-0.
Williams Valley 3, Weatherly 0
TOWER CITY — Gabrielle Duprez had five kills, seven service points, 14 aces and one dig as Williams Valley defeated Weatherly 25-6, 25-8, 25-9 in a Division II match.
Also for the Vikings (1-0, 1-0 D-II), Emma Reinoehl had 12 assists and three aces; and Hayley Fenlason had five kills and two aces.
For Weatherly (0-2, 0-1), Abby Binger had three kills and four digs; and Kelly Reiner added five digs.
