PAXINOS — Tamaqua’s Sam Vinc shot a 1-under-par 71 but Lourdes’ depth proved to be the difference as the Red Raiders edged the Blue Raiders 355-359 in a Schuylkill League Division I golf match Thursday at Indian Hills Golf Course.

The loss by Tamaqua (4-5, 4-4 D-I) clinched Division I playoff berths for both Blue Mountain (7-1 league) and Pottsville (6-2 league) since the Tide swept the Blue Raiders in their two Division I matches.

In Division II action, Trey Keating shot a 79 as Nativity defeated Mahanoy Area 331-358 and Pottsville 331-335. Maxum DiRenzo’s 75 paced Pottsville.

Alan Evans posted a 72 as Schuylkill Haven downed Minersville 301-342. North Schuylkill’s Jude Maziekas carded a 74 to lead North Schuylkill past Minersville 312-342 in non-league action.
