HS Girls’ Wrestling: Tamaqua falls to William Allen

TAMAQUA — Tamaqua swept the contested bouts, but William Allen used its depth to edge the Blue Raiders 31-30 on criteria Tuesday in a non-league girls’ wrestling dual meet. The difference was Criterion F, least number of forfeits.
Zania Braewell (170), Addison Trunk (106), Kaitlin Rivera (118) and Jalissa Correa (124) scored falls for the Blue Raiders (0-3). Kiely Kunkel scored Tamaqua’s other points on a forfeit.
Correa stopped Suero Jimena in 4:43 to improve to 6-0.
William Allen (1-2) scored on five forfeits.
