HS Swimming: Schuylkill Valley boys break 2 records in win over Blue Mountain

Panthers score swim sweep of Eagles
ORWIGSBURG — Schuylkill Valley broke a pair of pool records en route to a 95-81 victory over Blue Mountain in a non-league boys’ swimming dual meet at the Glen Belmont Natatorium.
Owen Eisenhofer broke the pool’s 100-yard butterfly record in a time of 51.44 seconds, beating the previous mark of 52.02 set by Noah Powers in 2024.
The Panthers’ 200 medley relay of Eisenhofer, Kyle Gao, Gabe Martin and Greyson Dennis also set a pool record by posting a time of 1:42.10. The previous record was 1:42.16 held by Blue Mountain’s Powers, Christian Fisher, Matheson Bair and Gabe Kamarousky in 2023.
Porter Sarnes (200 free, 500 free) won two individual events and swam on a winning relay as Blue Mountain (9-1) suffered its first loss of the season. Schuylkill Valley won nine of 12 events.

ORWIGSBURG — Isabella Lafko took first in the 500 freestyle for the Eagles’ only victory as Blue Mountain dropped a non-league meet to the Panthers.
The loss was the first of the season for the Eagles (9-1).
