Devils, Wreckers pull out dramatic Division II wins
TAMAQUA — Lauren Ligenza took over in overtime.
The Tamaqua center scored all six of her team’s points in the extra session, lifting the Blue Raiders to a 38-34 victory over Blue Mountain in a Schuylkill League Division I contest at the Tamaqua Athletic Center.
Millie Black and Ligenza both recorded double-doubles for Tamaqua, which boosted its Schuylkill League playoff chances with the victory. Black compiled 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Ligenza finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Karley Koch had 14 points and Callie Peel tallied 11 for Blue Mountain. Peel had a pair of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as the Eagles rallied from a 26-22 deficit entering the final frame to force overtime.

Audrey Hutchinson tallied 10 of her 14 points in the first half as Schuylkill Haven built a 21-16 halftime lead. Runkle then netted 12 of her points in the second half as the Hurricanes held on.
Jo Barnhart paced Pottsville with 10 points while Lauren Brennan added nine points.

Mya Conti and Jadelin Stitzer each added 10 points for North Schuylkill, which used a big second quarter to build a 21-7 halftime lead.
Sarah McGrath drained four 3-pointers and scored a team-high 12 points for Minersville.

Aliciana Aponte scored a game-high 20 points for Panther Valley, which led 35-34 entering the fourth. Morgan Orsulak added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Panthers, while Lucy Kocha also had 12 points.
Hollyn Sampson led Pine Grove with 15 points, one of four players in double figures. Meadow Umbenhauer added 11 points, while Leffler and Fidler each netted 10.

Kane finished with seven points and Kelly Reiner tallied six for Weatherly, which snapped a five-game losing streak.
Alexia Kehler had all five of her points in the second quarter to help the Wreckers take an 18-15 halftime lead. Weatherly won despite shooting 1-for-11 from the foul line.
Maci Rushannon led all scorers with 14 points for Nativity, draining four 3-pointers.
