HOMETOWN — It all came down to the final moments of regulation.

Schuylkill Haven survived a frantic finish Tuesday night, getting a clutch 3-pointer from Alan Evans and late free throws from Max Heim to edge Marian 56-53 in a Schuylkill League Division II boys’ basketball game.

With the Hurricanes trailing by one in the closing seconds, Evans stepped up and drilled a go-ahead 3-pointer with approximately 8.0 remaining to give Haven a 54-53 lead. Marian was forced to foul on the ensuing possession, and Heim calmly knocked down two free throws with 3.8 left to extend the advantage to three.
