HS Football: 10 Schuylkill players named to PSFCA East all-star roster

Ten Schuylkill County high school football players were honored Monday by being named to the East roster for the annual Titan Threadz Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association East/West Small-School All-Star Game to be held Sunday, May 17, at Cumberland Valley High School’s Chapman Field.
The Small-School game kicks off at noon, with the Big-School game to follow at 5 p.m.
The local contingent is led by four players from Schuylkill Haven and two from both Williams Valley and Nativity.
Running back Niko Carestia, linemen Chase Williams and Wyatt Keefer, and defensive back Adam Balulis will represent the Hurricanes. Wide receiver Evan Achenbach and defensive end Bryce Zilinski were selected from Williams Valley, while cornerback Colt Mason and punter Aaron Sinko will represent Nativity.
Minersville wide receiver Paiten Lapoint and Panther Valley wide receiver Gavin Yuricheck round out the Schuylkill County seniors selected to participate.
The Big-School roster has yet to be released.
