HERSHEY — It’s time for states.

The PIAA Wrestling Championships are upon us, the culmination of a year of hard work, sacrifice and some of the best competition in America.

Twelve Schuylkill League grapplers — 10 boys and two girls — qualified for the tournament.

With that in mind, here’s a primer to get you ready for the three-day celebration of the sport and the excellence Pennsylvania produces year after year.

Session I

9 a.m. — Class AA boys’ round of 32 and round of 16

12:30 p.m. — Class AA first-round consolations

2 p.m. — Girls’ round of 16

3:30 p.m. —  Girls’ first-round consolations

4:30 p.m. — Class 3A boys’ round of 32 and round of 16

8 p.m. — Class 3A boys’ first-round consolations

Friday, March 6

Session II

8 a.m. — Class AA boys’ quarterfinals and second-round consolations

11:45 a.m. — Girls’ quarterfinals

1:15 p.m. — Girls’ second-round consolations
