HS Girls’ Wrestling: Tamaqua falls to Northern Lehigh

SLATINGTON — Tamaqua swept the contested bouts, but Northern Lehigh’s depth enabled the Bulldogs to defeat the Blue Raiders 54-15 on Thursday in a non-league girls’ wrestling dual meet.
Kiely Kunkel (112) and Addison Trunk (118) notched falls for Tamaqua (0-8). Kunkel raised her record this season to 9-2; Trunk moved to 8-5.

Jalissa Correa (124) added a 4-0 decision over Autumn Khuu to improve to 13-3 for the Blue Raiders.
Northern Lehigh (7-3) scored on nine forfeits.
