District 11 singles postponed

BETHLEHEM — Rain early Wednesday prompted officials to postpone the District 11 Class AA Singles Tournament at Bethlehem Freedom High School.

The semifinals and finals of the championships will be held Thursday at Freedom.

Blue Mountain’s Evan Burcik, the No. 3 seed, will take on second-seeded Tommy Spinosa of Allentown Central Catholic in one semifinal. In the other, No. 1 seed Aveer Chadha of Moravian Academy will meet No. 4 Bekim Cokrilja of Lehighton.

The semifinal winners will square off for the title and a berth in the state tournament.
