BOYS DIVISION I

*** Mahanoy Area (10-1) has clinched playoff berth

*** Minersville (9-2) and Pottsville (9-2) can clinch playoff berth with one more league win

*** Blue Mountain (6-5) is on fringe and would need both Minersville and Pottsville to lose all three remaining games to force three-way tie.

*** Division champion race is too tight to call, with Mahanoy Area, Pottsville and Minersville all within one game. So far, everyone has split …. Mahanoy beat Pottsville, split with Minersville, Minersville-Pottsville split. Mahanoy visits Pottsville on Friday

*** If all three end up tied, declare tri-champions, seeding for playoffs based on District 11 power rating.

*** Tri-Valley (8-3) and Weatherly (7-4) are in position to gain final two spots, with Williams Valley (5-5) and Marian (5-6) still in picture.

*** Playoff tiebreaker would only be held if it’s a tie for third place in the division, essentially a play-in game
