HS Golf: Maziekas shoots 67 as Spartans top Panther Valley

BARNESVILLE — Jude Maziekas carded a season’s-best 67 as North Schuylkill downed Panther Vallely 327-370 in a Schuylkill League Division I golf match Tuesday at White Birch Golf Course.
In other Division I action, Maxum DiRenzo’s 84 paced Pottsville to a 358-375 win over previously unbeaten Tamaqua.
In Division II, Trey Keating shot a 70 as Nativity remained unbeaten with a 323-335 win over Marian. Garrett Sukeena’s 74 lifted Minersville to a 345-350 win over Weatherly, while Chase McCole had an 80 in Mahanoy Area’s 352-364 win over Pine Grove.
The Mahanoy Area-Pine Grove match was part of a tri-meet with Blue Mountain. The Eagles swept both the Bears and Cardinals as Evan Setlock’s 76 paced Blue Mountain’s 317 score.
