Schuylkill Haven High School cheerleading team hosts UCA Cheer Camp

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN —  Schuylkill Haven High School Cheerleading has stormed into their season. In late July the team held their annual cheerleading camp with the Universal Cheerleading Association. At the camp, the team was able to learn new sideline material for Friday night games to help fire up the crowd, learned new stunting skills and made a lot of memories as a team all in just two days. The camp also provided the team many opportunities to build confidence and push themselves to try new skills. The team earned two Superior Team trophies and multiple earned awards each day and had nine team members be chosen as All-American Cheerleaders. Those team members chosen get the opportunity to represent Schuylkill Haven in various events held by the Universal Cheerleading Association and Varsity Spirit in London, Hawaii, New York, Florida, Rome or Philadelphia.
